Kenexa Requisition ID 2808BR Job Posting Title Apparel Graphic Designer Job Description This position will be responsible for creating new and original graphic artwork and concepts in multiple styles and mediums. Must be able to consistently produce own concepts as well as follow creative direction given in order to reach the desired design objectives. Experience designing graphics and artwork for youth lifestyle apparel is required and knowledge of youth driven lifestyle markets is preferred. Technical knowledge of materials, fabrications, garment construction, colors, and design processes is also critical, as well as an understanding of sourcing processes and costing implications. Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as have expertise in CAD illustration. Strong portfolio required. Moderate domestic and international travel required. The person must have knowledge of current trends and movements within our industry. Qualifications: * Bachelors’ degree in Graphic Design or related field * 2-3+ years experience graphic design/development experience. * Technical knowledge of materials, fabrications, garment construction, colors, and design processes. * Must have Knowledge of screen print processes and techniques. * Understanding of sourcing processes and costing implications a plus. * Must have thorough knowledge of both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Strong illustrator skills * Eagerness to work in a team environment * Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment within the creative standards set by management.
