Job Description
The Director of Digital Marketing will focus on driving innovation around one ofthe world's premium action sports Director of Digital Marketing will have the opportunity to continue to help lead aggressive, expansive and evolutionary growth.
This position will be responsible for leading the strategy, development and execution of online marketing, advertising, branding, promotion, strategic partnerships, analytics and testing. The Director of Digital Marketing will work with senior Marketing leadership to provide vision, leadership, and day-to-day management of all online marketing initiatives at DC.
The Director of Digital Marketing must be well versed in all online marketing activities including offline media, display advertising, email marketing, affiliate marketing and social media. He/She must also leverage marketing analytics information to gauge effectiveness of current campaigns and to make strategic adjustments for future planning.
The Director of Digital Marketing should have a demonstrated track record of creating critical mass and generating an excitable buzz in the marketplace. This person will be charged with leveraging all viable online channels to create increased consumer demand.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver against key metrics.
* Oversee online marketing budget and cross-category allocation, including analytics and optimization.
* Oversee all online customer channels, including advertising, email marketing, affiliate marketing, social media, etc.
* Select and manage media buying and external agencies for consumer business.
* Drive strategy from concept to execution for all assets, including banner ads, landing pages, acquisition emails, promotions, etc.
* Lead the relationship for key, strategic media vendors
* Generate customer insight from customer research and customer metrics that drive marketing programs.
* Drive business insights through data analysis and provide actionable recommendations for innovation in marketing strategy.
* Monitor industry / category trends and communicate to senior Marketing team to aid in making competitive judgment/investment decisions to guide overall Interactive Marketing investments.
* Develop strong working relationships and partnerships with internal departments and stakeholders.

Performance Requirements and Professional Attributes:
* Bachelor’s Degree
* Proven experience growing online consumer brands
* Expert in online marketing
* Experience applying rigorous analytics to determine ROI on cross-channel marketing efforts
* Well-versed in site-side marketing, including conversion, landing page optimization, A/B testing
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize and analyze data to identify trends and marketing opportunities.
* Familiarity with web analytics.
* Adept with social media and viral marketing
* Smart, analytical, creative, driven - “Gets it” and is able to deliver results quickly
* Self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with individuals at all levels
* Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
