Job Responsibilities
Roxy has an opening for a Graphic Artist in the art department. This person will be responsible for creating original graphics for fleece, tees, and sportswear and accessories for Roxy and Quiksilver Women’s product. Duties include creating tech packs/matrixes, CADs, pattern repeats, and more.
Job Requirements
* 2-3 years experience in apparel graphic design
* Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills are a must
* Drawing and painting skills are a must as well as a strong understanding of typography for apparel
* Experience with apparel embellishment, embroidery and screenprinting techniques
* Proven ability to set up printer-ready tech packs and accurate textile pattern repeats
* Ability to produce original artwork and prints for fleece, tees, accessories and sportswear
* Experience reporting trend research from shopping trips
* Ability to multi-task & work quickly and accurately under deadlines
* Willing to take direction and make revisions as necessary
* Organizational and record keeping skills are necessary
* Knowledge of action sports industry is a must
