Kenexa Requisition ID 4938BR Job Posting Title Graphic Designer Job Description Department Quiksilver Marketing Job Description The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating art and imagery for use across various platforms such as print, online, retail and commercial productions from conception to completion. The responsibilities of this position entails the creation of art packages, conceptualizing and building assets for campaigns across multiple platforms, storyboarding and directing photo & video shoots. Hands on photo editing and asset management will also be required. The position requires advanced level layout & design skills. The Graphic Designer must possess working knowledge of the printing process for building out press ready files and be equally comfortable converting files for web output. Must be self-sufficient in taking on design projects from concept to completion. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven environment is essential. Will be required to work with project management software program Workamajig, so prior experience with agency based project management software program is helpful. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or related field. • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience. • Advanced knowledge of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe CS4 or higher. • Must be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop & Illlustrator. • Photo editing experience required. • Working knowledge of KeyNote preferred. • Must have strong time management & organizational skills. • Ability to prioritize & multi-task required within a deadline driven environment. • Prior experience in agency based project management software program such as Workamajig preferred. • Must be a team player with a great attitude. • Prior Surf & Skateboarding Industry experience preferred. • Passion for boardriding culture & lifestyle required. • Portfolio of relevant work required.
