Job Description · Track development with sourcing partners (domestic and overseas) - Support PM in the tracking of all development: § Fabrics, trims, lab dips, development samples and wash standards, salesman samples, artwork execution approvals Set up & monitor the development & sample tracking logs. § Help PM to communicate relevant fit/visual comments to overseas partners Work with PM to achieve all target calendar dates including samples and bulk production. · Develop and track production with sourcing partners (domestic and overseas) – Issue production purchase orders for USA, Canada, and Retail. Ensure vendor confirmation forms are on file Validate purchase order information (Meets compliance requirements and guidelines) Follow up on all chase and reorder buys Track purchase orders from origin, through customs, and into the distribution centers. § Work with logistics providers and customs brokers to ensure timely movement of product from origin. § Reply/approve all pre-alerts from Logistics providers § Assist Frt. Forwarder with any missing/incomplete documentation. § Download all UPC information to ADHK § Daily contact with Distribution Center (depts. As needed) Manage the AS400 – Projections/WIP Status/Issue LC /ADHK Uploads/ETA Dates/Air/Sea Splits/ § Sold Out Codes/Available From Dates Communicate with Sales, Sales Support, M&D, Sourcing, and the Distribution Center § As needed on production issues and/or concerns. · Develop sourcing structure to support merchandising vision. (Ensuring all factories as CSCC Compliant and new vendors/factories are set up in system) · Collaborate with Product manager and merchandising team on: · Monitor time/action calendars to hit target calendar dates (insuring sample and bulk deliveries) · Collaborate to increase efficiencies on fabric, trims, and costing to achieve IGP goals. · Track greige commitments where relevant. Book long term basic programs where relevant. · Attend fit sessions · Ensure that factories not only ship our initial orders but are able to react and ship our chase buys. · Other responsibilities as needed
Job Skills and Requirements · 2-4 years of production experience · Strong computer skills especially Excel and Outlook · Excellent communication skills · AS400 experience preferred · PLM experience preferred
