Kenexa Requisition ID 4937BR Job Posting Title Production Designer Job Description Department Quiksilver Marketing Job Description The Production Designer will support the Art Directors in the execution of multi-platform campaigns, inclusive of print, web, catalogs, tradeshows/events & retail POP. Must be able to take creative direction well & translate to appropriate specifications needed. Will assist in building assets for campaigns across multiple platforms. Working knowledge of printing processes will be necessary for building out mechanicals to be sent to press as well as preparing files for web output. The position requires strong layout & design skills, as this position may be relied upon to take on smaller scale design projects. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven environment. Will be required to work with project management software program Workamajig, so prior experience with agency based project management software program is helpful. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or related field. • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience. • Must be proficient in Adobe CS4 or higher. • Strong InDesign, Photoshop & Illlustrator skills required. • Working knowledge of KeyNote preferred. • Must have strong time management & organizational skills. • Ability to prioritize & multi-task required within a deadline driven environment. • Prior experience in agency based project management software program such as Workamajig preferred. • Must be a team player with a great attitude. • Prior Surf & Skateboarding Industry experience preferred. • Passion for boardriding culture & lifestyle required.
