Job Responsibilities: The QS Retail Junior Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our corporate owned retail stores and Ecommerce consumers. They will work closely with the corporate owned retail store buyers, production team, and warehouse, as well as with our GSI Ecommerce counterparts servicing our direct to consumer orders through the Quiksilver, Roxy, and DC shoes websites to assist in the process of the sales cycle, from order entry to shipping and follow-up with the each respective team. He/she will offer system support in all aspects of the buying process and shipping process and all other office related duties.
Some specific duties include: working to maximize product fulfillment on orders by monitoring buys, substitute styles, drop styles, product arrival and receiving, ensuring system is flowing accordingly, shipping efficiency and inventory accuracy by working closely with other departments such as retail buying/allocation team, Ecommerce team, M&D, Demand Planning, Production, IT, the distribution center, and our GSI Ecommerce counterpart. The Junior Coordinator will also be responsible for entering orders, order maintenance, issuing RAs, status open orders, remedying order/shipping issues, writing up SHRs, and inventory reconciliation.
Job Requirements:
* Solid typing and computer skills necessary (Knowledge of Microsoft Office a must)
* Knowledge of AS400 preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
* Must be detail oriented and able to multi task
* Retail/customer service experience a plus
* Must be able to work well in a team and also be self-sufficient
* Organization, priority control and phone skills are required
* Must enjoy a fast paced environment with many demands
