Consolidated Graphics (NYSE: CGX), one of the nation's most technologically advanced commercial sheet-fed, web and digital printing companies has an opening for a 2nd Pressman at our company located in Elmhurst, IL.
This position will be responsible for setting-up a 6-color, 40-inch Heidelberg sheet-fed press with an aqueous coaters. The 2nd pressman is responsible for preparing jobs for print (e.g. throw paper, load ink in fountains, load paper into feeder, etc.). Candidate is required to have at least 3 years of experience setting-up a 6-color or 5-color, 40-inch Heidelberg or similar printing press, and perform without additional training.
Looking for candidate that is willing to learn how to run a press eventually or has some experience as a lead pressman.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience setting-up a 6-color/5color, 40-inchsheet-fed press is required.
Must be dependable with a hard work ethic and the ability to contribute in a team environment.
Must have a "whatever it takes" attitude.
