Responsibilities: · Review all orders for correctness. · Set up and operate all equipment (training provided). · Maintain quality at all stages of assembly and packaging. · Read customer blue prints for details. · Assemblers must be able to read measuring tapes and use calipers, micrometers and angle finders. · Maintain clean work environment using 5S principles. · Work in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements. · Communicate openly with co-workers and supervisor. · Actively participate in facility WIN Goals and Cost Reduction programs.
Skills/Qualifications: Mechanically inclined, follow detailed instructions, motivated, fast paced assembly experience, quality focus, problem solver. Requirements:
· Must be able to learn Parker parts and part numbers. Ability to lift 0-20 lbs constantly, 25 lbs frequently, 40 lbs occassionally, and up to 70 lbs rarely. · High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. · Previous Production experience preferred. · Must be a self-starter, motivated and have a can-do attitude. · Must be able to work overtime, including Saturdays. · 2nd Shift - core hours are 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, with overtime until 2:00 AM.
