787 Supply Chain Cost Lead
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
* Develop strategies for reducing platform cost and create part family packages
* Lead resourcing exercise on part families and create overall 787 SCM strategy
* Define appropriate LTA strategy for all 787 parts
* Ensure Supply Chain Leverage for 787-9
* Partipate in Passport Process for Transitions and PCOT Funding
* Coordinate and work with 3P, VSM and other ACE teams
* Work with cross functional teams across UTC to transition work to low cost sites. This will involve developing a part-by-part transition plan
* Working closely with other groups to understand customer requirements and to communicate progress to all internal stakeholders
* Responsible for the completion of other tasks related to this position as they are assigned by cognizant management in support of Hamilton Sundstrand' operations development strategy
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or related field. MBA preferred
5-7 years experience in project managment
Knowledge of JDE MRP system
10-20% travel
