Job Description Summary: Summary: Reporting to the Manger of Business Development, as the Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and making strategic recommendations, and manage to completion, a set of tasks and activities that will protect and further the interests of the Actuation Systems Aftermarket business.
Primary Responsibilities:
. Responsible for all day-to-day activities for a designated group of Customers/Territory . Capture and maintain long term contracts with a focus on maximizing sales and OI . Develop and implement market penetration activities including customer management, provisioning recommendations and communication plans. . Lead the development of and transform marketing strategies into business plans to maximize sales, OI and inventory investment. . Make regular customer visits to develop business relationships with key decision makers . Proactively identify and capture target sales accounts. . Conduct market research relating to target markets, growth opportunities, and competitive environment as well as help develop strategic marketing and sales plans from the research . Work with , Manager of Business Development, to integrate objectives in line with the overall strategic sales and marketing plan . Assist in the development of detailed sales forecasts in line with short and long term strategic sales plans . Maintain complete strategic (potential and current) customer profiles. . Evaluate market share/market penetration . Support other Business Development Activities as required
Basic Qualifications: Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant technical discipline or a College Diploma in Business or technical discipline and at least 8 years of related experience; MBA preferred . 5 plus years manufacturing industry market research experience . Manufacturing industry experience is required and Aerospace strongly preferred . Strong experience mining and analyzing databases is required (i.e. SAP,ACAS) . Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (i.e. SAP) with the ability to link data strategically . Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated experience presenting to senior level audiences . Demonstrated ability to relate to a number of stakeholders at all levels . Travel as required, both nationally and internationally to support the business upto 50% .
