Job Description
Dematic has an immediate opening for an Account Manager in Western Pennsylvania or Western New York. The successful candidate must have a successful background selling Material Handling Solutions

<b>Job Family Responsibilities:</b><br /><br /> Develops and implements plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty. Pursues long-term account strategy that maximizes profits. Assists in cultivating long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers. Develops a complete understanding of the organizations structure and key buying influences of assigned accounts. Performs client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings. Provides management with suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels.

<br /><br /><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br /><br /> Performs full range of standard work for Material Handling Solutions customers. Refers complex, unusual problems to others. Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.

<br /><br /><b>Education:</b><br /><br /> Typically BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree. Certification may be required in some areas.

<br /><br /><b>Knowledge and Experience:</b><br /><br /> Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of Material Handling Solutions through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience selling in the Material Handling Solutions industry or a closely related industry and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

<br /><br /><b>Direction of Others:</b><br /><br /> Provides general guidance or train support and/or professional staff.

<br /><br /><b>Key Working Relationships:</b><br /><br /> Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.
