Account Service Representative
Stryker Sustainability Solutions partners with hospitals to act more environmentally responsible and improve the quality of healthcare through more sustainable resource allocations.
The Account Service Reps primary responsibilities are to:
- PICK UP containers full of used/soiled surgical devices from each hospital in their territory;
- PACKAGE the containers (box them up, tape, label);
- SHIP those containers directly from the hospital to Stryker's reprocessing facilities;
- This is a physically demanding position and you must be able to lift and push boxes that weigh up to 40lbs;
- You will follow a daily schedule of service calls to each hospital in your assigned territory and you will call on several departments within the hospital [Operating rooms, Cath Labs, Central Supply) where the used devices are disposed of in specially marked containers.
Qualifications/Work Experience
-Ability to gather information from multiple sources and communicate the information to others;
-Computer literate and working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
-You must be able to work alone with no supervision;
-Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis;
-Clean driving record;
-Valid drivers' license and auto insurance;
-Use of your personal vehicle (drive 80-100 miles/day depending on territory).
Education and/or Special Training
-Minimum AA degree preferred with 1-3 years field sales/service experience.
