ATS has an immediate opening for an Assembler I.
Responsibilities will include: *
Performing basic assembly of products, circuit boards, cables, and/or starters from work orders, sample assemblies or verbal instruction *
Positioning and aligning parts in specified relationship to each other *
Performing assembly for special customer orders *
Assembling and attaching hardware to assemblies *
Mounting assembled components *
Assembling modules and other items as needed for repairs *
Adjusting or trimming materials from components to achieve specified characteristics *
Finishing all modules involving packaging, labeling, coating, etc., as necessary *
May perform assembly operations under microscope or other magnifying device *
High school diploma or GED *
1 - 3 years of experience in a related field preferred *
Basic understanding of theory of electronics and electronic parts *
Ability to read prints, experience or training in soldering preferred
