Position Title: Sr. Electrical Technician Description: Candidates will contribute to end-to-end board- and box-level tasks, including fabrication (electrical, PCB milling, mechanical assembly, etc.), computer drafting, and test. Fabricate microwave circuits, antenna designs, and test fixtures using the groups rapid prototyping facility. Design and conduct system-level test routines and develop software for test instrument automation. Work with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, receivers, and amplifiersResponsibilities: Candidates will draft mechanical parts and/or electrical circuits using CAD tools along with the fabrication of microwave circuits and test fixtures. In addition, candidates will assist in the assembly of electrical prototypes and develop test programs (using Labview) for instrument and test automation. Finally, candidates will conduct performance tests on component and integrated assemblies. Qualifications: - 3+ years experience in an RF-related technical field- Self starter interested in contributing to end-to-end tasts- Ability to work independently or as part of a team- Strong computer skills including applications for test equipment- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD, Mentor, ProE, Orcad, etc) Category: Assemblers and Fabricators
