The Savannah River Mill is seeking a dynamic individual for its Asset Availability Leader position.

The successful candidate will have responsibility of leading and advancing the asset availability and reliability of critical tissue converting assets facilitating and promoting Root Cause Analysis, capturing and categorizing loss events, leading operator essential care, advancing strategies around lubrication, implementing Asset Strategy Improvement (ASI) and shutdown coordination. The individual will work closely with the Technical Leader, Optimizers, Gatekeeper, Supervisors, Operators and Personnel within the Maintenance and Engineering departments to drive out repeat failures, to improve asset availability and to implement all aspects of the Georgia-Pacific Reliability Mental Model.

Education:
Bachelors Degree or higher in engineering or equivalent experience required.

Experience Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Operations, maintenance, reliability, or technical support experience in Converting preferred.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): demonstrated experience at finding and resolving organizational issues that lead to premature equipment failure. Strong interview skills and attention to detail needed. PROACT training and experience preferred.
Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM): experience in organizing and managing asset reliability strategies involving appropriate application of condition monitoring and preventative maintenance using an RCM-based approach.
Influence Without Authority: ability to apply persuasion or influence to create positive change in supporting departments without direct authority.
Condition-Monitoring Technologies: familiarity with technologies used to measure equipment condition including vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis, and ultrasonic technology.
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA): ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using fault trees, fishbone diagrams, or other techniques.
Industrial Equipment: general familiarity with centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps, motors, gearboxes, rolls, fasteners, bearings, lubrication, piping, hydraulics, and pneumatics required. Familiarity with precision balancing, alignment, and installation of rotating equipment preferred.
Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Project required. Experience with INDUS Passport, MA intelligence, Meridium or PROACT, and PI Process Book preferred.
Demonstrated leadership, planning and organizational, problem solving, decision making, and critical decision making skills are required.
