Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Area Head or Manager the incumbent is responsible for learning and applying manufacturing practices to an assigned work area which may include vaccine manufacturing, filling, lyophilization, packaging, production support or mechanical support.
Responsibilities are as follows:
* As a trainee for a manufacturing supervisor or engineering position, the incumbent becomes knowledgeable of Good Manufacturing Practices, safety and environmental regulations to ensure a high quality product is produced at expected cost. * Complies with all Standard Operating Procedures and personnel policies.
Please note: This position is 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 12:30 am - includes weekends).
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
* HS Diploma.
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or Business, or equivalent.
Required experience and skills:
* One to three years of manufacturing or staff support experience or equivalent. * Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
