ATC VEHICLE TEST LEAD Reports to ATC Test & Commissioning Manager
Job Summary: The Vehicle Engineering Test Lead is an experienced ASTS-USA resource responsible for the technical supervision of all Vehicle Engineering Test and Commissioning activities on-site. Summary of Essential Job Functions: • Leads and directs all on-site Vehicle Engineering Test and Commissioning activities. • Provides technical supervision for all Vehicle related installation tasks. • Acts as technical expert for all Vehicle related site activities. • Coordinates with ATC T&C Coordinator and other subsystem Test leads on planning and execution of ATC system level test activities. • Assists the Testing & Commissioning Manager in the scheduling of vehicle test activities
Minimum Requirements: • Experienced ASTS USA resource with direct driverless project experience is strongly preferred. • BA/BS degree in technical discipline with at least five (5) years in train control projects or at least seven (7) years of related experience. • Experience with installation of electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment in transit industry. • Thorough understanding of overall ATC system design principles, with extensive knowledge of Vehicle systems and commissioning. • Familiarity with Wayside and Central subsystems of overall ATC Driverless system.
• Fluent in English. Local language skills are a plus
