Audit Professional
The Audit Professional is responsible for leading operational and financial audits within the various domestic and international functional areas, such as: Manufacturing, Global Sourcing, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Controlling, Treasury, and Engineering, etc. The main areas of responsibility include negotiation and persuasion, strategy development, problem solving, final decision making authority, and functional and geographic responsibilities. Develop and execute detailed audit plans designed to identify conditions of risk to Chrysler LLC. Additional responsibilities include assessing internal controls, determining compliance with policies and procedures, evaluating efficiency and effectiveness of operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing corrective actions and timing. Lead and supervise Staff Auditors. Communicate findings to management, both in writing and orally. Act as a business advisor to management, provide consulting services and support corporate audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities. Some travel is required (up to 40% possible) to various domestic and international Chrysler LLC locations and supplier facilities.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of audit or advisory experience in the manufacturing industry
Preferred Qualifications: • Professional certification (such as CPA, CIA, CMA, CFE) and/or an advanced degree (MBA) preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong project management skills
• Strong relationship building skills
• Knowledge and/or experience in the automotive industry a plus
• Inter or Intra functional process improvement team experiences a plus
• Ability to understand and document complex business processes
• Identify risks and offer value added solutions
• Detail oriented with excellent written / oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter has ability to interface with management and work well in a team environment
• Strong personal computer skills
• Foreign language skills considered a plus
