Job Code :6240 Division :ESD Location :Woodridge IL US 60517 % of Travel Required :None Job Type :Full Time Career Level :Entry Level Education :High School or equivalent Category :Manufacturing and Production Compensation :From 11.23 To 13.97 USD Per Hour Job Description : FINAL AUDITOR RESPONSIBILITIES · Per work instructions, audit or inspect parts for defects and measure audited parts to customer specifications; · Visually inspect, and measure audited parts to customer specifications when required; · Visually inspect cartons and verify that labels and packaging meet customer/industry specifications · Reject cartons when defects are found; · Notify Quality Control Manager and Production Supervisor of process deficiencies when necessary; · Maintain computer records and travel tickets for finished product placed into warehouse (using JBA and Datalyzer); · Perform monthly dock audits; · Assist supervisor with training of inspectors; · All other duties as assigned. PACKING RESPONSIBILITIES: · Pack inspected, finished parts by part number; · Operate packaging scale to weigh up finished parts; · Operate label computer to make labels for all boxes; · Stage and keep count of all inspection data; · Assist Auditor and Warehouse person as assigned; · All other duties as assigned. INSPECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: · Per work instructions, audit or inspect finished parts for defects; · Fill out Inspection Production/Scrap data sheet daily; · Use computer to access work instructions; · All other duties as assigned. GENERAL TEAM MEMBER RESPONSIBILITES: · Cooperate in cross-training and assist team with the above duties when needed; · Maintain clean and safe work environment; · Correct or report any safety hazards to supervisor; · Assist Supervisors in Quality Training of Operators; · Perform other duties (including SPC) as directed by Quality Control Manager; · All other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: · One year manufacturing experience and a solid work history required; · Good communication skills, ability to read and understand work instructions required; · Previous experience auditing and inspecting preferred; · Computer / micro-view proficiency required; · Experience with gauges, calipers, micrometers preferred; PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Must be able to do any combination of walking, standing or sitting for 80% of the work day, and be able to squat, bend or lift at least 20% of the work day; · Able to lift up to 30 pounds several times per day (up to 250 times per day for packing) · Repetitive fine manipulation and good hand/eye coordination is required; · Visual ability to distinguish discrete cosmetic defects from functional defects.
