BIW - Process Reliability Manager
The BIW - Process Reliability Manager is responsible for ensuring conformance of BIW processes and coordinating engineering, tooling and quality changes involving body shell geometry and panel fits, as well as coordinating all safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale initiatives. The successful candidate will also provide coaching and mentoring to team members (both hourly and supervisory) regarding World Class Manufacturing techniques of problem solving and corrective action implementation. Interface with AME, Program Management and Product Engineering to assure compliance to build requirements as well as to drive product changes necessary to improve quality.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required, electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
• Minimum 5 years production/maintenance supervisory experience in manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor employee team members
• Proficient in all MS Office products and database usage
• Previous fit and finish experience mandatory
Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced degree preferred
• Previous experience working in a union environment
• Strong background in LEAN Manufacturing System
• May be required to work other shifts
