Body In White Maintenance Supervisor
The Body in White Maintenance Supervisors is responsible for facilitating UAW maintenance skilled trades employees in support of the production process. Support related automation and controls of manufacturing operations. Plan project operations that establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products while utilizing knowledge of trades, methods, machinery and equipment capabilities and manpower requirements. Coordinate activities according to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards. Resolve specific process issues in a team environment and coordinate the operation and training of the plant's total maintenance system (TMS), OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and plant schedules.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing / automotive environment
• Knowledge of Body in White processes
• Experience with robotic automation processes
• Robotic programming/ troubleshooting experience
• Experience with machine and systems operations and integration
• Experience with RS Logic, PLC-5, Allen Bradley Drive Systems
Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced or technical degree (i.e., BSME or BSEE)
• Knowledge of welding processes ( i.e. resistance spot welding)
• Experience with Control Net Networks, Device Net Networks, ABB
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
