Summary of Position
The business process analyst will work with stakeholders across Euro-Pro to identify and characterize opportunities that would enable the business to become more efficient. The business process analyst will work across the Euro Pro divisions capturing business requirements gathered by evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and synthesizing low-level information to a general understanding. Additionally, the business process analyst will describe as-is and future-state business processes, design and document workflow and make recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The individual will support a number of key process improvement projects, successfully establishing new systems and processes that result in measureable improvements.
This position will support company wide initiatives in business process improvement, process documentation and change management.
Essential Functions
Provide leadership and tactical guidance for "process re-engineering" initiatives within Euro-Pro to improve efficiency and/or quality. Leading cross-functional process improvement teams.
Identify (together with Euro-Pro line functions) areas that require process improvement and propose solutions for implementation.
Capture improvement opportunities using interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
Drive business requirements gathering by evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, synthesize low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders.
Drive and challenge stakeholders on their assumptions of how their processes can be improved.
Identify and address change management issues, successfully establishing new systems and processes.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Maintain knowledge of process improvement methodologies and best practices, sharing lessons learned across Euro-Pro’s functions.
Business and value stream mapping
May include (and is not limited to) all design through delivery processes, metrics/scorecard generation
Role may include travel as required to all EP business locations
Meeting with individuals across departments to define and map the current processes (following principles of DMAIC/DMADV).

Requirements:
Education and Experience
BS in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field
A strong analytic and ‘numbers’ background is preferred
5-10 years business or consulting experience in process re-engineering
Knowledge and experience with design through delivery (supply chain, logistics, pricing or overseas manufacturing) processes required
