Job Description * This is a QA lead position with minimum 2-3 years of experience in software application testing. * Candidate should possess a deep knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodology. * This is a hands-on position where the person will also be a QA tester along with QA lead responsibilities. * BA experience a plus. Will report to Project Manager for status updates and work with Development team for proper identification of problems and expected resolutions.
Job Requirements * 4-year Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 2-3 years of QA experience with strong background software application testing coupled with at least 1 year of experience in handling multiple projects. * Ensures deadlines are met and strictly follows IT QA methodology * Provide status updates and escalate issues to Project Manager * Must have at least 2-3 years strong QA experience in testing complex software applications related to Web, Workflow, and client/server applications in an enterprise environment. * Must be able to plan, create and execute functional, integration, regression, load and performance tests * Demonstrate experience with creating detailed test plans, test data, executing the tests and analyze the test results, report & metrics, and defect management. * Must have at least 2 years of experience of going through the entire software development life cycle of an application. * Must have at least 2 years of experience testing software applications with frequent release cycles * Must have experience in handling multiple project schedules at different phases of testing and handling project assignments independently. * Minimum 2 years of experience in reviewing technical & functional specifications and develop QA test scenarios based on requirements. * Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with technical resources as well as business resources * Knowledge of Mercury Quality Center & Mercury Quick Test Pro is a plus * Business Analysis skill a plus
