Job Code 11-0300 Post Date 12/13/2011 Position Title Business Process Analyst City Windsor State CT Description Business Process Analyst Summary: Analyze, map and communicate business processes and best practices to the training department.
Responsibilities:
1. Possesses a deep understanding for all business processes and develops related documentation. Maintains technical knowledge of Kaman's business systems and PC applications.
2. Tests and audits user applications of software to assure its effectiveness.
3. Extracts data from user requests and generates reports.
4. Provides analysis and audit of system efficiencies, maintains interface with systems analysts and programmers.
5. Reviews procedures and actions taken by user and instructs user to perform diagnostic procedures. Provides user support for inquiries and problems.
6. Resolves problems by issuing corrective instructions; consulting with coworkers and vendors.
7. Improves programs by notifying programmers of problems and analyzes and suggests corrective action for system errors.
8. Participates as member of Business Systems team to ensure that KIT information systems is running effectively and supports business needs.
9. Interfaces with relevant departments as a resource for development and maintenance of reference materials and manuals.
10. Maintains a high level of customer focus. Requirements Qualifications:
Education- BS in Computer Science, Business Management or related field; equivalent work experience will be considered. Experience- 2-4 years in Business Systems or related experience.
