Semiconductor fabrication company in Texas has a direct hire opening for a APICS Certified Senior Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities:
-> Manages the corporate function to negotiate pricing and develop contractual agreements
-> Be responsible for strategy development and execution, supplier relationship management, risk management and supplier profit analysis
Requirements:
-> BS degree or equivalent experience. BS Degree, MS or MBA preferred, and 10 years experience in a purchasing or a material control role in the semiconductor industry
-> Must have experience negotiating manufacturing contracts with external wafer foundries
-> Must be APICS certified and strong skills negotiation BOM cost reductions with semiconductor suppliers
-> The Senior Procurement Manager conducts financial analysis of supplier proposals and performs market analysis, cost analysis, TCO analysis, make vs. buy analysis, supplier profit analysis
-> Proficiency with SAP software preferred
