Experienced and successful Channel Manager needed ASAP for growing company with leading edge technology!
Our client is an established, mid-size company with a strong and compelling value proposition. We are currently seeking a channel management professional with some recent networking, storage, and/or security appliance industry background to develop and call on VARs and resellers in the Northwest region of the U.S. The qualified candidate will drive relationships with these partners and help with identifying sales opportunities, educate, train, and gain mindshare and awareness of company products. In this role the individual supports a particular geographic sales team. The Channel Manager identifies, recruits, enables and manages Value Added Resellers that fit a specific profile deemed to be most successful in the sales of company products. The Channel Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining a sufficient number of VAR Partners to ensure revenue goals are met and that sufficient pipeline is created to ensure success in subsequent quarters. The Channel Manager is not responsible for selling to end-user customers as they will work directly with Territory Managers and Sales Engineers in the specified geography that are goaled and responsible for end-user sales in conjunction with the VAR Partner Sales Representatives which are identified, recruited, enable and managed by the Channel Manager.
