West Deptford, NJ fluoropolymer manufacturing has an immediate opening for an experienced Chemical operator. Responsibilities include safe operation of chemical manufacturing processes in accordance with standard operating procedures. Requirements incl. a High School Diploma and
3 to 5 yrs experience working in an industrial environment, Chemical distillation, mill operation, resin manufacturing, Distributive Control System experience, Prefrerred, Leadership experience desired.

Requirements:
Safely operate chemical processes in accordance with standard operating procedures and operating conditions manual
Monitor processes for abnormalities – take action as required
Perform accurate line up of process equipment
Perform product transfers as required
Perform product sampling as required
Complete necessary equipment inspections in area of responsibility
Complete required process equipment reading documentation as required
Complete all required operational and regulatory documentation as needed
Participate in safety meetings, HAZOPS and incident investigations
Prepare and maintain records in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements
Prepare equipment for safe maintenance operations – complete safe work permits as required
Monitor and operate all Safety, Environmental, Security and fire related equipment including monitoring equipment and alarms initiating emergency response notification as required.
Ensure good housekeeping in assigned area
