ResourceMFG is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to work out of the Houston, TX area.
The CNC Machinist is responsible for performing set up and operation of CNC machinery (lathe and/or mill) in order to prepare metallic and non-metallic parts required in the production of inflatable packers and downhole tools or other products offered to customers and other clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review blueprints, drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product, sequence of operations and/or set up requirements
Identify, produce and gauge a variety of straight and taper threads, including Acme and buttress (does not apply to mill positions)
Measure, mark and otherwise indicate the dimensions and reference points on the part or material to be used as guides for subsequent machining
Select, align and secure the holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines to include mills, lathes and grinders
Calculate and set controls to regulate various machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow and depth and angle of cut
Start and observe machine operation to detect any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust the machine controls or control media as necessary
Verify conformance of finished part to ensure that it meets specifications
Confer with production personnel, engineers or others to resolve machining or assembly issues
Perform daily 'maintenance duties and/or notify supervisor of any equipment-related issues that may require attention
Maintain clean and orderly work area
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years of age
Minimum 3 years of CNC Machine experience
Must be able to edit the machine, read blueprints, and do your own setups
No Felonies within the last 3 years
We Offer:
$18.00-$30.00 dollars an hour based on experience
