Requirements A High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Minimum of one (1) yeas related schooling and two (2) years machining experience or any combination of schooling and/or experience that equals twenty-four (24) months. Responsibilities Set up and run multiple machines including mills, lathes, drills, Analyze drawings and specifications to determine most efficient set-up and use of tools. Program using machine language, the tool path and tool changes. (G&M code) Sharpen tools or select and change inserts. Verify that machined parts are within drawing specifications.
