Standard Locknut, LLC. is a world-class manufacturer of bearing accessories and contract machining located in Westfield, IN. Our company provides the services of converting tubing, bar stock, forgings and castings into precision machined products.
Position Summary:
Performs wide range of duties involving operating and set-ups of a variety of CNC equipment, coupled with following/achieving manufacturing, quality and performance standards, while exceeding
our customer’s expectations with quality service in a timely manner.
Essential Functions:
Sets-up and operates various types of CNC and/or auxiliary equipment for production; makes products at an acceptable level of quality and productivity.
Performs minor editing functions to CNC programs as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum Job Requirements:
Minimum one year experience operating and set up of CNC Lathes
High School Diploma
Knowledge of decimals, fractions, geometry and basic math.
Use of precision measuring equipment.
Basic reading, writing and English language skills.
Physical Requirements: Lifting, pushing, pulling, leveraging, hoisting or carrying 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, leveraging, hoisting or carrying 50 pounds or more on an occasional basis.
Ability to stand at assigned machine cell for length of shift.
Bending, squatting or reaching (below or overhead) on a regular basis.
Hours/Wage Range:2nd & 3rd Shift Opportunities
Depending on skill up to $19/Hour
