Time Warner Cable's East Region currently seeks a Commission Processing Analyst for its Raleigh, NC location. Please find below a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Purpose:
To maintain the accuracy and integrity of payroll for commissioned employees and ensure audit controls are in place over commission processing. Perform payroll/commission support, organizational and administrative duties. Enforce department regulations, policies and procedures. Provides specialized oversight and analysis of Regional commission structures, payments and performance for commissioned departments
Essential Job Functions:
.Responsible for calculating commissions for commission earned departments as well as auditing the earned commission based on commission plans and policies.
.Maintains confidentiality on matters relating to payroll commissions and performance.
.Research commission variances as requested by commissioned departments.
.Provide feedback to commissioned departments to increase accuracy of commission payments.
.Update applicable commission systems as needed.
.Action-oriented, energetic individual needing little direction or supervision. Possess a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers, employees and the company.
.Accurately maintains departmental filing and adhere to record retention guidelines.
.Performs staff support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas.
.Complete key operational monthly analysis for performance measurements for revenue and performance growth opportunities.
.Complete monthly commission analysis on a timely, accurate and professional basis using spreadsheet models, database applications and/or other PC based financial applications.
.Other duties as assigned.
Education Level:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
Required Education (Major):
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Experience/Skills Required:
.Two to four years experience of processing commissions in the Morrisville location including sending the commission files to shared services.
.Able to make decisions in qualifying sales orders for commission payment in compliance with department policies and procedures. A strong problem solving orientation and excellent decision making skills.
.Supports management to enforce procedures and policies to improve overall customer care. Ensure the integrity of commissions paid to agents based on policies and procedures.
.Must have a working knowledge of computer-based programs. Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and the Internet.
.Knowledge in ICOMS / AS400 preferred, including the ability to screen, print, and gather information to resolve inquiries.
.Maintains poise under pressure with ability to adapt to changing priorities, develop alternative solutions, and work in a team environment.
.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to payroll.
.Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced work environment.
Travel requirements and frequency:
Valid NC driver's license and good driving record.
Some travel may be required; possible overnight.
Legal or Financial Responsibilities:
