Title: Compliance Manager QA EH & S - Project Delivery Location: New Zealand-Auckland * Leading Rail Signalling and Control Organisation * Dynamic Project Environment * Permanent role based in Auckland Invensys Rail is a leading, global, rail organisation, with offices across the APAC region. Our organisation delivers across the full spectrum of design, development, manufacture, implementation, test and commissioning of railway signalling and control products and systems. We are now recruiting a Compliance Manager to implement the Invensys Rail Quality Assurance and Environment Health & Safety policies as required for all NZ projects. This person will implement pro-active measures to prevent EHS adverse events from occurring and ensure all operations comply with agreed QA standards. In addition, he/she will provide day to day support to Invensys Rail site managers and employees within all NZ projects. More specifically, responsibilities will include: * Planning and reviewing Safe Working Method Statements and protection plans provided by Invensys Rail sub contractors; * Conducting site and quality inspections to ensure that correct QA EHS&S policies are followed and that all pre work briefing and toolbox meetings are completed; * Ensuring that all Incidents are investigated and reported to the Project Manager and Invensys Rail EHS&S Manager; * Monitoring and reporting on agreed subcontractor quality standards and performance metrics. We are looking for someone with: * Experience in a Safety Coordinator or similar role * Knowledge of NZ legislation including Occupational Health & Safety and Environment * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. * A tertiary qualification in EHS and Site Safe would be advantageous You will be capable to working under pressure and to defined deadlines when required, able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, be meticulous and have the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the business and key external stakeholders - both written and verbally.
