The Composites Tech Service Lab Technician is expected to: Responsibilities:
Be self-disciplined and self-motivated. The ability to readily grasp new concepts, focus on details, and be conscientious of others is key.
Infuse composite sandwich panels including set-up, infusion, tear down, and material machining. This is a physical job with exposure to irritating glass materials as well as polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy resins.
Test the mechanical properties of our materials and analyze the data generated to determine trends, highlight benefits, or elucidate issues.
Communicate often with scientists, engineers, sales and marketing associates within the corporation to exchange ideas and solicit advice.
Make formal and informal presentations to composites team members and customers.
Travel to customers and assist with their molding trials using our products.
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor degree in a technical field is strongly preferred.
Experience in composites including closed molding composites processing is beneficial.
