Functional Area: Engineering Work Location: ECEPS (Pump & Engine) - W Hartford, CT
Job Description Summary: The West Hartford location has an immediate opening for a Configuration Management Analyst.
In this role, the individual will process Engineering Releases (ER's), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP's) and provide ancillary support within the configuration management department. They will work with sales, program management, engineering, operations and external customers e.g., aerospace, commercial (FAA) and Military representatives, verify that process is followed in accordance with the company's configuration management policies, generate the documentation necessary to implement and monitor configuration practices and review engineering change data. The individual will be required to provide status reports and track progression of changes. They also must support internal and external audits when required.
Basic Qualifications: Other required skills include experience in an ERP system, One World JD Edwards or SAP preferred PDM / PLM user experience is required; administrator experience would be a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team. Must be highly organized and posses effective communication skills. Also, must be able to interface comfortably with peers, management and customers.
This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in configuration and data control management. Bachelor degree preferred, AS Degree with significant experience will be considered. US Citizens or green card holders only, please.
