Construction Manager-Construction/Power Generation/Site
Client involved in power plant EPC projects is looking for a Construction Site Manager with 20+ years of related heavy industrial plant construction site experience to join their team. You need to have at least 5 years of experience as a Construction Site Manager over power plant EPC projects. This is for a 16-18 month project assignment in Central, FL. The ideal candidate has experience as a Construction Site Manager on large boiler construction projects.
Responsibilities:
-> This position provides overall administrative and technical direction for your portion of this power plant construction project
-> Responsible for overseeing total construction effort to ensure project is safely constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule
-> You will be a main interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, etc
-> This position plans, coordinates and/or supervises field activities of all company personnel on assigned projects
-> Other duties include assisting with implementation/interpretation of safety programs, providing direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions
Requirements:
-> 20+ years of experience supporting large, heavy industrial plant construction projects
-> At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Site Manager over power plant EPC projects
-> Any specific experience on solid fuel fired boiler EPC projects would be a PLUS
-> Must be able to effectively interact with Customer, vendors, and other team members on the telephone and in person
-> A BS Degree is a PLUS
-> You must have excellent written & verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills
