Key Responsibilities
* Provide Lean Manufacturing and Lean Enterprise training and support as required.
* Assist in achieving business unit Policy Deployment (PD) and Strategic Plan objectives, and participate in monthly PD reviews
* Lead the effort to establish and maintain Lean tools and methodologies throughout the organization
* Lead and manage new employee on-boarding as it relates to Lean culture immersion.
* Become certified in Kanban Management, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement and Variability Reduction tools
* Establish and maintain a Kaizen Funnel for the Securaplane site
* Lead and/or facilitate Kaizen events and develop employees in the application and maintenance of Lean tools and methods.
* Assist site leadership in the strategic definition and implementation of Continuous Improvement.
* Lead Securaplane's Health Safety & Environment (HSE), Maintenance Management and Facilities Management activities.
* Perform benchmarking studies as required.
* Drives "best practices" in all functional areas of the business
* Participate in Meggitt's Continuous Improvement Council.

Background and Skill Requirements
* Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a "general manager's" point of view
* Ability to design, develop, and implement a continuous improvement roadmap for a Business Unit
* Demonstrated mastery of a variety of Toyota Production System (TPS) tools
* Excellent communication, facilitation and instruction skills
* Familiarity with various manufacturing processes
* Hands-on experience implementing Lean manufacturing and Lean enterprise in a line management role
* 4 year Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Operations (or similar discipline) is required; Advanced degree preferred
* Exposure to and participation in a wide variety of training and learning environments
* Strong writing and administrative skills
* Strong functional knowledge of MS Office products (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, etc.)
* Demonstrated proficiency in Project Management
