INVISTA is currently seeking a Contractor Management Leader to join our team in Orange, TX.

Position Summary:
The Contractor Management Leader provides supervision that leads direct reports in meeting and exceeding plant objectives associated with EHS, selection & development, manufacturing reliability, efficiency and project execution.
This position provides oversight for Field Contract Coordinators and Logistics/Rentals Coordinator within the contractor management work group and provides oversight with onsite presence contract resources that support maintenance activities. This position supports the Maintenance Manager in driving an MBM culture within the maintenance organization with emphasis on Operations Excellence in maintenance work processes and practices necessary to meet and exceed plant objectives associated with contractor performed maintenance work activities.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage contract maintenance activities associated with meeting or exceeding environmental, safety and health objectives and support an overall risk profile reduction related to maintenance performance.
Promote and use safe work practices to provide a safe work environment. This will include a high level of collaboration with site safety and health leadership.
Ensure Process Safety Management requirements are met by both INVISTA employees and contract workforce.
Ensures field contract coordinators and contractors adhere to safety and occupational health procedures.
Routinely audits work for safe behaviors, work quality and efficiency and addresses deficiencies.
Conducts investigations as required and documents findings and necessary action items.
Supports unit reliability objectives for quality, availability and production targets.
Works with Planning and Scheduling Leader, Gatekeepers, Material Coordinators, and Small Projects Gatekeeper to ensure contracts are accompanied with well defined scopes of work and specifications necessary to manage contractor performances and are monitored by an owners representative.
Ensures scope change documentation processes are in place and utilized to manage contract changes and purchase orders.
Conducts post contractor work performance reviews provides feedback to the procurement organization.
Works with peers to provide good economic thinking and decision making regarding how to properly resource work (INVISTA resources, resident contractors, or non-resident contractors).
Utilizes contractors that are approved for work at the site and works with procurement to manage new contract approval and variances as necessary.
Works closely with finance on the acceptance and payment for services provided by approved contractors.
Manages contractor maintenance resources to deliver low cost and high efficiency within the work control processes.
Ensures direct reports have appropriate expectations in place with line of site objectives and manages performance against them.
Leads team to provide accurate and timely progress updates on managed work on a daily basis. Ensures field contractor coordinators receive training and development needed to support maintenance oversight activities.
Utilizes CMMS to obtain information on scheduling, equipment history, spare parts, job plans and repair plans as required. Initiates and generates requisitions and work order notifications as necessary. Mentors Field Contract coordinators as needed in CMMS usage to increase overall team knowledge.
Coordinates and directs activities associated with emergency work if required.
Establishes metrics to drive cost efficiency with contract activities. Monitors maintenance metrics and adjusts to meet performance expectations.
Ensures accurate work order history is captured and entered into the CMMS
Works with TA work groups to develop resource plans for maintenance related staffing needs on turnaround events.
Maintains open communication and positive working relationships with on-site Business Support functions such as Accounting, Procurement, and Receipt of Services to identify cost opportunities and ensure budgets are accurately tracked.
Serves on call maintenance coverage on a rotating basis.
Must be able to communicate with all levels of an organization.
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, independent achiever who can thrive in a team environment working closely with operations, maintenance, technical and other support staff organizations.

Required Education and Experience:
8 years experience at a manufacturing site in contract management supervision or maintenance leadership position.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel (create and modify spreadsheets), Word (such as using Word to create and modify Word documents), PowerPoint (prepare and present presentations) and MS Project (creating a project plan, adding tasks, resources and milestones)?
Experience with CMMS systems (SAP, Indus, Maximo)

Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering
5 years experience at a manufacturing site in contract management supervision, preferably in a chemical/refinery plant environment with PSM covered processes.
Experience facilitating meetings and leading collaborative discussions with multiple groups.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions (with or without reasonable accommodations):
Must be able to wear all types of personal protective equipment
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding in operating units
Must be willing to work periodic work days in excess of 10 hours
Must be able to take maintenance coverage
