International power generation equipment and service provider is seeking a Controls Project Engineer for an Atlanta, GA based direct hire or long-term contract career opportunity. Candidate will be responsible for all technical aspects of control system design, programming, documentation, testing, and commissioning. 30% travel required.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for all technical aspects of control system design, programming, documentation, testing, and commissioning.
-> Candidate will be responsible for Electrical/Control System design including PLC and HMI programming
-> Create documents such as User Requirements, Functional Specifications, Detailed Design Specifications, etc
-> Conduct full functional and Factory Acceptance Testing
-> Participate in and lead Startup and Commissioning of projects at the customer site
Requirements:
-> Bachelor?s degree in related field preferred
-> 5+ years in the industrial automation field with Allen Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix PLC exp required
-> 4+ years with Wonderware Intouch or Allen Bradley FactoryTalkViewSE or RSViewSE or RSView32
