Position Description
Provide significant participation in the Neuromodulation and Diabetes Operation to translate into a will representation of the integrity of the financial results. Provide support to the Operations group by business partnering to influence business direction while maintaining a well-controlled environment from an accounting Perspective. Provide finance support for JD Edwards One World and SAP Financial applications.
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned Cost Accounting files and data fields in the computarized system for the purchase of new components. Verify that the Product Class and Item Type Codes are properly established. - Maintain cost data in the JDE One World system for materials purchased from suppliers. - Monitor, evaluate and close Work Orders in conjuction with the Supply Chain staff. - Responsible of value Stream General Ledger: Prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts. - Review and analyze Value Stream Cost Center spending. - Review and analyzed Other Product Costs (OPC) such as Scrap, Purchase Price Variance, etc. - Conduct ongoing analysis of actual results compared to plan forecast. - Reconcile inventory in transit accounts on a monthly basis. - Participate and contribute to the success of cycle count program to assure inventory accuracy and eliminate annual wall-towall physical inventory.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor in Business Administration with Major in Accounting or Finance MBA or CMA Preferred.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual: Good writing and oral skills in English and Spanish. Strong exposures to ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards. Proficiency in the use of Personal Computers, Microsoft Windows 2000, Word and Excel.
