Position: Automotive Credit Analyst / Underwriter
Location: Austell, GA
Schedule: 7:30am – 4:30pm (may need to be a little flexable)
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Job Description
This position involves the purchase of sales finance contracts from franchise automobile dealerships. Analysis is done to determine whether the loan applicant meets acceptable underwriting standards. Underwriting is done using an automated credit system.
Review and make appropriate decisions on loan applications to meet acceptable underwriting standards, while maintaining a high level of service to internal and external customers
Provide back-up support for team members
All other duties as assigned
Experience:
Knowledge of credit analysis
Knowledge of auto loan documentation
One to three years experience of which at least two years of prior captive/indirect auto lending, funding, or collection experience desired
Strong communication skills – oral and written
Self starter with excellent time management skills
Motivated team player
Adequate computer skills (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be able to:
Provide verifiable work history (names, addresses, phone numbers, accurate dates of employment)
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
Successfully pass a county criminal background investigation
Provide detailed information for highest degree obtained (high school diploma, GED or college/university)
