Primary function of this position is: Analyzes, coordinates and provides information and order flows between FCD customers and FCD plant operations. Monitors and produce scheduling, production plan and customer requirements to ensure smooth order and manufacturing process. Understands technical specifications, product performance requirements, manufacturing process and end user expectations. Understands, analyzes and prepare packaging requirements, logistics and transportation options.
In details: A. Analyzes, prepares and improves production plans of the FCD plants and monitors delivery schedules in order to meet customer requirements and to minimize manufacturing variation. B. Receives from the FCD plants the Customers scheduling programs and coordinate the FCD customer service representatives located into the plants to meet customer satisfaction requirements reacting to delivery schedule changes VS Master plan. C. Coordinates supply chain team activities in order to serve as the customer contact for all plants inquiries. D. Evaluates estimates provided by the Customer Sales Managers and interprets the future requests together with the FCD Customers in order to have a better preparation of the delivery plans. E. Analyze the Delivery Performance per each FCD plant and communicate to the VG Materials Manager the result at month end. F. Negotiates delivery with both internal and external customers and settles differences to optimize both Plants and Customer requirements. G. Keep tracking of any special transport that is required and issues the necessary documentation to VG Materials Manager. H. Be aware of any technical specification change and supports the phase in and phase out period to assure a flawless transition I. Presents Plant objectives, product information and organizational information to customers in order to enhance their perspective of Eaton J. Analyzes reasons for past due payments in order to optimize plant cash flow. K. Receives and collect the Order Entries from Customer Service Dept and controls that all data requested are correctly fill in and manages the data. L. Meets with Customers in order to improve communication obtaining relevant information and interviews contact people for the CRR. M. Supports maintenance, management and development of support systems (MFGPRO, EDI). N. Coordinates with plant Materials Managers packaging management, packaging reports, packaging inventories.
Job Qualifications /Educational Requirements Specialized knowledge: Preferred Master degree in Engineering managment / Foreign languages or Economics, B/S Customer-specific language skills are required (German, English, Italian and French) to provide verbal and written communication. 2/4 years of Customer service experience in manufacturing or a related field Expertise in 8D problem solving EBEA knowledge KANBAN expertise ISO, QS or TS knowledge
