CSR / Planner – Phoenix Mfg. Co.


Description:  Phoenix Manufacturing Company is a distribution and light manufacturing business located in Horicon, WI.  Phoenix is part of a global multi-plant business with facilities in Mexico, China, and New Hampshire.  Phoenix is currently looking for a professional individual in the Customer Service, Planning, and Purchasing fields.  The multi-task role will be necessary for supporting expected future growth.  This role will be part of a newly transferred business segment.  We are looking for the right person to drive this organization for years to come.


This stand alone business executes in the distribution classes of direct, internet, and through other distributors.  The business is focused in outdoor power equipment while adding new markets.  The primary product lines are pulleys, belts, and assemblies.


Tasks:



  • Customer Service: answer phones, light technical assistance, checking status of orders

  • Receive PO’s, Order Entry, Return management, Billing, Handling of website orders

  • Quote prices along with lead-times

  • Setup up new items and customers into system, manage credit apps

  • Schedule trucks for pickup through phone and internet, provide ASN’s to customers

  • Purchase all inventoried items, and supplies

  • Manage inventory through developing optimal inventory and cost levels



Requirements:

Required:



  • 2+ years of experience in the distribution or related field

  • Inventory Management experience

  • Purchasing experience

  • Customer service experience

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • MRP systems experience

  • Supply Chain Management knowledge


Preferred:



  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Further technical education is a plus - Preferably operations management oriented

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP System

  • Lean manufacturing practices

  • Annual inventory plan setup experience for budget purposes

  • Metrics reporting on the Supply Chain
