Customer Usage Duty Cycle Engineer
The Customer Usage Duty Cycle Engineer is responsible for developing test targets for customer duty cycle or survey data. Develop Chrysler Proving Grounds test schedules for body/chassis and Powertrain components. Plan and direct the instrumentation of vehicles for loads, accelerations, displacements, . Perform, maintain, and manage the data acquisition of the test equipment. Perform necessary data analysis to optimize the surface, speed, and repeats of test events to best match multiple targets for distributions of damage, range, frequency, . Write test schedule procedures and specifications. Maintain and update test procedures in the ISO database. Provide test schedule advice and information to technicians and other engineering departments. Provide recommendations for the maintenance of durability roads and surfaces at the Chrysler Chelsea Proving Grounds. Keep abreast of the state-of-the-art vehicle durability testing. Recommend and implement necessary improvements to Chrysler testing procedures.
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering • 3+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels • Excellent written & oral communication • Candidate must be high-energy, hands on individual
