Duties
Bowhead is looking for a Data Management Specialist to research, develop, write/edit, update and maintain technical documentation in support of the Building 1510 IWSL and Building 1530 ICSTF Media Library Operations and the Building 1490 Information Management Office (IMO) task including, but not limited to, the Media Library SOPs, User Guides, Planning documents such as the Contingency plan, Brochures, and Posters. Coordinate development/review cycles and the consolidation of comments. This includes scheduling meetings and/or demonstrations. Receive and process all requests for controlled computer media generated internally and externally to the IWSL & ICSTF. Maintain control over master and library computer program media. Maintain an accurate inventory and distribution history for computer program media under configuration control (masters and copies). Maintain the computer media databases using the Barcode module of the Advanced Configuration Control and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) system and generate associated system reports. Produce, distribute and maintain an inventory of all computer media under configuration control quarterly as required by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain documentation associated with the labeling, duplication and comparison of computer program deliveries. Maintain control of all user computer media, temporary computer media and copies of configuration computer media, and implement procedures required to assure that the computer media is handled, preserved and stored in a manner to prevent damage or deterioration. This requirement includes the management, storage and transportation of media to off site, secure storage. Issue library computer media to users and maintain data required for tracking and control. Maintain an accurate inventory of library computer media and distribution documentation.
 This is a shift work position. The normal work hours for this position will be from 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday although, at times the candidate may be required to be a shift floater which would require other work hours.
Required Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of computer media or documentation management experience. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the SECRET level.
