Job Responsibilities:
* Participate in the acquisition, development and maintenance of global information systems that collect and store quality-related information and data. Analyze data and disseminate reports regarding quality.
* Participate in the acquisition of quality software and hardware required to support corporate operations.
* Serve as the liaison between the Information Services Department and the Quality Department.
* Identify ways to create centralized quality application tools that can be used by all of Crown's manufacturing facilities worldwide.
Qualifications:
* This position requires an associate degree in computer science with five years experience or a bachelor's degree in computer science with two years experience.
* An understanding of how to create, modify, document, administrate and troubleshoot databases.
* Good communication skills (verbal and written) including the ability to communicate on appropriate levels,
* Intermediate knowledge and experience with networking, Windows, Visual Studio, SQL and SMTP Mail Services preferred. Manufacturing or Quality software experience recommended.
* Must have the ability to train people on computer literacy and fundamentals and manage multiple projects at one time.
