| Description The People Bank, a Division of Design Group Staffing, is currently recruiting for a Demand Analyst with CPG experience for a progressive health products brand. Due to our rapid growth, our client, has a full time, permanent opportunity for a Demand Analyst within their Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities and a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting and Planning. In addition, the ideal candidate will have been exposed and involved in the implementation of an S&OP process and forecasting software. Principle Accountabilities: * Responsible for overall data maintenance for systems associated with Demand Planning (re-tagging product variations, new SKU introductions, SKU discontinuations, ABC classification, etc.) * Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the baseline forecast * Analyzes historical product demand patterns, trends and other business insight to properly select and assign statistical forecast models at the SKU - Customer level * Ensure constant improvement in all aspects of the forecasting process that result in higher accuracy levels for the business * Development of forecasts for new product rollouts, version extensions and test markets, including development of like models, phase-in and phase-out profiles, utilizing current forecasting tool * Ongoing communication and good working relationships with Sales, Supply Planners, Customer Service, Marketing, Product Development and New Product Launch teams to refine the demand plan on a timely basis, within the demand planning and production time frames * Generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports on significant forecast vs. actual unit variances with the maintenance of a daily SKU tracker to properly assess sudden swings in customer buying patters/market fluctuations * Participation and input in the monthly S&OP meetings, responsible for baseline forecast and ensuring sales enters all uplifts impacting the forecast * Initiate and lead monthly forecast meetings with Sales and Operations * Take leadership role in driving the demand planning process and forecasting improvements Required Skills and Qualifications: * Post secondary education in Business/Accounting * Minimum 3 - 5 years in Demand Planning, Forecasting and Planning in a medium to large company * Consumer Packaged Goods or Pharmaceutical experience is required * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Knowledge of MS Office, strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access * Experience and/or knowledge of John Galt (Atlas) forecasting system would be considered an asset * Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques and demand planning applications such as John Galt (Atlas), would be considered an asset Serious candidates please email resume to: Shannon A.
