| Description The People Bank, a Division of Design Group Staffing, is currently recruiting for a Manager, Demand Planning. In this key and pivotal post, you will be responsible for providing support, guidance and direction to the Supply chain team. Responsibilities: * Liaise with external consultants with respect to Sales Forecasting and Planning Project * Liaise with internal Operations, Sales, Finance, and IT teams on Operations lead projects * Review existing processes and procedures and be team lead for operations group, driving recommendations for proposed processes and procedures with respect to sales forecasting, planning, production and demand planning * Operations Lead for software implementation * Upon completion of the Sales Forecasting and Planning Project, the successful incumbent will assume leadership role for our Production Planning, Inventory Management and Master Schedule Planning teams and functions * Work with the Operations Leader & Sr Director, Operations toward achieving departmental and company goals and objectives Required Skills and Qualifications: * Post Secondary education that can be directly applied to the consumer packaged goods, food, healthcare, pharmaceutical or manufacturing arena * Experience in Logistics, Production Planning, Supply Chain processes and Inventory Management * Experience working in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry * Experience in developing and implementing processes and structure with respect to sales forecasting and production planning * Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent skills in using Microsoft Access, Excel and Word * Have a process oriented thinking approach with strong organizational skills Serious candidates please email resume to: Shannon A.
