Rees Engineering Corp. is a multi-industry automation and systems integrator. We are seeking a Design professional having experience with PLC’s HMI, Motion Control. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will be a part of our design and programming team working on unique automation and control projects (typically “one-off” systems).
Our main focus at this time is the electrical & programming aspects of automation with plans to expand our offerings to include machine and mechanical designs.
Our office is located in Collegeville, Pa. Most of our project activity occurs in the PA-NJ-DE-MD region with occasional national and international projects.

Requirements:
BS Degree in electrical engineering/automated manufacturing engineering, equivalent or higher. 3+ years of related experience outside of the university.
Background in industrial control or machine automation.
Experience programming PLC/PAC’s and HMI (knowledge of multiple brands preferred)
Motion (servo & stepper) & Machine Vision experience a plus.
Knowledge of low voltage, 3 phase (240/480V) power controls including circuit protection, motor control (VFD & MS) & UL 508A.
Knowledge of control panel and field installation assembly methods and techniques.
Knowledgeable of electrical standards (NEC, UL, CE, NFPA, Arc Flash)
Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite (especially Word & Excel). Knowledge of Access is a plus.
Knowledge of communication between various systems (Ethernet, serial, Modbus, etc.).
Knowledge of Local Area Networks, and TCP/IP protocols. Database design methodologies, Visual Basic or C a plus
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic theory and system controls a plus.
Ability to write technical documents & specifications along with good oral communication skills
Able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, P&ID, and hydraulic schematics
Able to follow direction and work without close supervision
Other requirements: Fluent in English (speak, read and write), Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, own transportation.
