Designer-Inventor/Vault/Manufacturing
A leading manufacturer of industrial glass products is currently seeking a Designer with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault experience at their facility in the Wilmington, NC, area. This is a CONTRACT position. Assignment length is 10 to 12 months, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates only. Must be willing to work overtime during critical periods. Some travel to other domestic client locations and equipment suppliers is expected.
Responsibilities:
-> Work with engineering counterparts to detail part drawings, assemblies and general arrangement layouts
-> Create and manage machine part lists
-> Design machine parts and assemblies
-> Act as a liaison with procurement personnel and machine shops to procure and fabricate parts / assemblies
Requirements:
-> Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault experience is required
-> Associates Degree (Drafting / CAD or Mechanical Technologies)
-> Good equipment and process troubleshooting skills
